ABOUT NAYA  
 


Novel Association for Youth Advocacy (NAYA) was registered as a national non-governmental, non-political & not-for-profit organization

Registered on the 19th June, 2014 with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria with CAC/IT/NO 70270, The movement was started as a group of visionary and change-driven individuals who were enthusiastic about finding solutions to common issues faced by mostly disadvantaged & marginalized groups especially vulnerable children, adolescents, youth, persons with disabilities and the poor.

The coalition strives to address issues related to poor health, economic hardship, social exclusion, gender-based violence and illiteracy especially among adolescents and youth.

This group evolved into a coalition NGO, bringing together youth-serving, youth-led & youth-focused NGOs in Nigeria. As at today, NAYA has 67 active youth organization members working with her to achieve her mission and vision of a prosperous and active young population.



Our Vision

Novel Association for Youth Advocacy (NAYA)’s vision is a society where young persons (adolescents and youth) have equitable access to quality health, education and sustainable livelihood irrespective of their ethnic, religious affiliations, gender, disability or HIV status for their optimal development and functioning.


Our Mission

Novel Association for Youth Advocacy (NAYA)’s mission is to create an enabling environment that fosters empowerment for adolescent and youth through advocacy, networking, service delivery and campaigns with a view to creating a society where adolescent and youth concerns, rights, and dignity are recognized and addressed by the government, individuals and institutions.


Target group

NAYA has continually targeted Adolescents, Youth, Young Women, Girl Child, Young Persons with Disability, and most recently, Key populations (IDPs & Slum dwellers).
